Donna Brown, Landscape Architect
Donna Brown graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and has designed a wide range of projects in Calgary, Edmonton, Washington State and Vancouver. She is an artist and brings her creative talents to her landscape designs and backs it up with a thorough knowledge of construction and plant materials. Her design company, Donna Brown Landscapes has designed landscapes to compliment the homes of many of Edmonton’s top home builders and some of Edmonton’s most elite clientele. Donna shared her passion for creativity and the landscape by teaching in the Landscape Architecture program at NAIT for 15 years, focusing on design, construction, and plant materials. She loved teaching as it kept her knowledge current and introduced her to a great network of professionals and experts. Donna believes a great side benefit to her career is the people she has met and the friendships she has made. She has really good relationships with past clients is working on 2nd or 3rd projects with some.
Kerri Buksa, LAT – Profile
Kerri Buksa has been involved in the landscape industry for the past 15 years and has loved every minute of it. Kerri received her diploma in Landscape Architect Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton and now specializes in residential and commercial design working with clients throughout Western Canada.
Kerri is in demand as an enthusiastic speaker at home and garden shows, local greenhouse seminars and on talk radio where she is excited to share her extensive knowledge of design as well as regional plants, trees and shrubs. As part of the design team at Donna Brown Landscapes, her design aesthetic pushes the boundaries of stale design and zone varietals, creating a unique, yet practical vision for clients.
